Week 4 Instagram recap:
This fourth installment in #fightingfebruary2017 wraps up the month of my personal Instagram challenge. You can read about my goals for the challenge here, as well as the results from #fightingfebruary2016 here.
Art therapy. It seriously never gets old. That’s what I’m doing at the end of a long Wednesday, thanks to the #zenartchallenge.
And here’s a tip: don’t label yourself. Give yourself a chance to discover the artist who lives inside of you. Visit https://www.facebook.com/
The only art-related regret I harbor is that I didn’t give it a try sooner.
Last week when I went to the local pottery shop, I decided to think outside the box for my spoon rest. Today I picked up the finished product. This piece will definitely brighten up my kitchen and make me happy every time I see it.
Now, to keep it safe from little fingers….
This nugget. She fooled us during her first 11.5 months on the outside with her sweet, perfect demeanor. Then, just before her first birthday the diva emerged.
She’s cute. And smart. And devious. And quite the diva, but still a sweetie. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Most of the time. 😜 #thankgodforcoffeeandwine
When the first of your sisters has her first baby, it’s kind of a big deal. And when that sister happens to strongly embrace her Native American heritage, it makes working with a theme a dream. Especially when @hjoyp bosses the job and @hbparsons and @nurse_diesel are full of artistic ideas, too.
Our bedroom required some serious maintenance work, which resulted in deep cleaning and rearranging furniture, which resulted in *finally* hanging some gifts like this one from @nurse_diesel. Now I smile every time I enter the room. The “love you more” hanky from @j.r.dekorte ‘s wedding is an added bonus.
What do you enjoy decorating with?
Today is the last day of February. We made it! And wow, do I ever feel blessed to have enjoyed such an amazing February.
Next week on the blog I’ll be sharing my thoughts on what made this February so amazing for me, as opposed to past years when I wondered if I’d survive the month.

This year’s February project left me emotionally stable and pleasantly surprised, and I think I know why it worked. Next week I’ll share those thoughts with you. See you then!
